Lessons

We are a small barn offering beginner riding lessons to ages 7 and up. Come and learn in a relaxed, safety focused environment. Our intro to horses starts on the ground with a solid foundation on safe horse handling, basic horsemanship, how to groom and tack up. As you advance in your lessons you will spend more time focusing on your balance, skills, and building confidence in the saddle. Your lesson will be 2 hours total with the 1 hour of riding time. We offer both English and western lessons and you can try both styles in our introductory program.  

Lessons are available Monday afternoons and Sunday mornings. Please message to secure your time slot. 

Lessons are $65 (HST included) for private lessons or $50 (HST included) for Group lessons - maximum of 3 riders. 

Personal riding helmets are recommended, helmets required for all riders. Closed toed shoes with a heel are required for riding. 

Please dress for the weather as lessons will run with the exception of  thunderstorms, ice storms, or extreme cold or heat. Make up lessons with only be offered in cases of severe weather cancelling the lesson.
